Ed Pink Racing Engines (EPRE) has extensive experience in all facets of race engine performance engineering and can successfully perform projects of any magnitude. EPRE has conducted product development and validation testing for outside companies, as well as successfully undertaken the engineering, design, development and production of complete engine assemblies for auto manufacturers and race teams.

Engine Dynamometer Test Cells
EPRE operates two engine dynamometer test cells. Both cells utilize modified Heenan Froude Dynamometers capable of testing virtually any type of race engine and they are equipped with extensive data collection systems. Both cells are equipped with the state-of-the-art Depac Collection System. The EPRE dyno systems allow extremely accurate and repeatable engine testing.
DynoJet Chassis Dynamometer
The DynoJet Model 224 in-ground chassis dyno is installed in a newly refurbished, dedicated test cell in the company’s rear building. This dyno allows testing of either rear drive or front drive vehicles.
While EPRE will mostly specialize in testing race cars, the system can also test street vehicles.
Testing services offered can be customized to customer needs. Basic service such as 2 or 3 back to back power runs to validate vehicle performance is available. EPRE will offer tuning services for race cars where required. The company’s extensive experience with tuning a wide variety of engine or fuel control systems will be available to customers.
EPRE offers engine component machining for racing and performance engine applications. EPRE machine work is done to the very tightest tolerance and finishes, exceeding standards generally available within the industry.
